Urmi Engineer Willoughby, PhD

I am a historian and associate professor at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of California-Santa Cruz in 2010. My research focuses on histories of disease and medicine from a global and ecological perspective. At Pitzer College, I teach courses on the intersection of health and ecology in North America and in world history.
